April 15, 2005 - The Chicago Bandits, Chicago's National Pro Fastpitch
women's softball team, announced today that Kleiser Therapy Services, P.C. will
be a partner with the Bandits.
"Kleiser Therapy is proud to be a part of the Chicago Bandits family," said Rosemary
Kleiser, founder and president of Kleiser Therapy. "This is a unique opportunity
for us to be closely involved with the sport of women's professional softball.
The Bandits are an exciting addition to the sports scene in the Chicago area,
and we look forward to working with and supporting the team in every way that
we can."
Kleiser Therapy is sponsoring the Chicago Bandits Youth
Softball Clinics that
are being held around the Chicago area this summer. "Girls' softball is growing
rapidly in the Chicago area," Kleiser said, "and working with the camps is an
excellent way of ensuring that the girls get the most out of their softball experience
while helping them to learn about ways to reduce the chance of injury."
The Chicago Bandits will begin their season on June 2nd against the Australian
National team. The Bandits will play all 35 of their home games at Benedictine
University's Sports Complex in suburban Lisle, Illinois. The Bandits' schedule
is made up of five National Pro Fastpitch teams, four international teams from
Australia, Venezuela, China, and Canada, and two Gold-level women's club teams.
The Bandits' roster includes Team USA Olympians Jennie Finch, Jaime Clark, and
Leah O'Brien-Amico, plus some of the nation's best collegiate softball players.
