THE HAND AND WRIST

The Hand & Wrist

Typing an email, writing a letter, sewing a button, or assembling small pieces are among the many fine motor skill tasks we do everyday with our hands. Consisting of 27 bones and many ligaments, tendons, muscles and nerves, the hand is a complex . As a result of constant repetitive movement, a sudden traumatic injury, or conditions that develop in the hand or wrist, you may experience significant pain, restricted movement and range of motion, or reduced strength. The symptoms can sometimes be severely limiting and disabling.

Because of the high degree of connectivity between the hand, arm & shoulder, getting the best therapy results often involves treating other parts of the upper extremity as well, not just the specific location of the injury.

The specialists at Kleiser Therapy focus exclusively on hand, arm, and shoulder rehabilitation. Using the knowledge and expertise from over 33 years of specialized care treating thousands of patients with excellent results, we know which treatments work best for each specific injury and condition. Our therapists are also Certified Hand Therapists who can develop a customized, highly-effective treatment program to address your specific injury and needs.

If you are unsure whether the injury or condition is serious enough to require medical care, we offer complimentary screenings where you will meet with one of our therapists who will evaluate your condition and recommend the right next steps based on your injuries…all at no charge to you.
